For appropriate clients we have access to discretionary managers who not only deal in stocks and shares on behalf of clients, but who also makes the decisions about what should be bought and sold for the investment portfolio and have authority to execute those decisions without getting prior approval from the client.

Also known as a full-service brokers, in contrast with our status as advisory brokers and execution-only brokers.

Normally for clients with larger sums to invest who are more experienced investors.
